Maybe I've already shared this story but it bears repeating.

Sometimes at lunch, I go window shopping for motor vehicles, ones that I will not buy. Often I stop to look at exotics or luxury vehicles. One day, I stopped at the Rolls Royce dealership on W. Sahara.

I see this typical, but beautiful blue Rolls, and the sale agent is showing me different vehicles because she has nothing else to do. It's not as if people are swarming the showroom floor. I asked her what that vehicle was.

"Oh, it's our Rolls EV."

"Really. What's its range?"

"As advertised, about 280."

"What would one expect?"

"240."

"And for the pleasure of owning a 240 mile car, how much will that set you back?"

"Only $550,000.00."

Gulp.
