He seems to be really focused on building a program. It seems in college sports the coaches that do the best (Saban, Few, etc) are those that are focused on building their program. They see all parts of the program: recruiting, player development, athlete support, relations with boosters, etc. as needing attention and people with the right skill set to perform well-defined roles. They as coaches have an innate understanding of where their time is best used, and align their organization accordingly.
I am in no way comparing him to them and definitely feel as fans we need to give Coach Young space to grow, but it seems to me encouraging that he seems to be focused on building the program.
