Utah still has it. A kid from our High School throws really well. Just for kicks I looked up the mens javelin from the
link in the OP. This kid would have placed 10th in that meet. He's only a junior now. Maybe he could throw at the next level. Kinda fun.

Javelin is interesting to me - are there states that do javelin in high school? Or do people just pick it up...
