mistakes and don’t seek out advice first. I think they often assume that being very smart and capable in one area makes them experts in all. So they will join some business venture or sign some contract and then end up in a law suit later. Most of the time it could have been avoided had they sought legal counsel before. I have had some client doctors where honestly it felt like they kinda knew what they were getting into and were worried that I would tell them not to do it if they spoke with me before hand so they just didn’t get the consult.

Then they ended up in a battle afterwards when the whole thing blew up. The first few years of legalized weed grabbed a ton of doctors in this kind of thing.
