I just don't want to hear the whining from those schools, like we are from WSU and OrSt, when the hammer does eventually drop. They are all fine leaving other schools behind when it benefits them.
It's a short sighted progression. Yes, the SEC and B1G are going to keep down this path, and the next evolution (after a few more additions to each league) is most likely the top half of each league breaking off and forming a super league all to themselves. Initially, the money will be huge.
But long term? It's a crappy move. College football is what it is because everybody across the entire nation has a dog in the fight. Kick my dog out and just what the crap would I care about your "super league"? Oh, your league is a watered down version of the NFL? In essence, a minor league? I guess I'll just watch the real thing. Have fun with your "super league," though.
