I think paternity leave should be shorter/longer. I think more than anything it has to do with recovery of the spouse and helping take the load off of them.

We do 12 weeks paid maternity, 4 weeks paid paternity. More than that unpaid on a case by case basis.

I’d take whatever is given to me, but IMO 2-3 weeks is plenty for paternity. I think 4-6 weeks is plenty for maternity
