Consequences. No one is paying to see the coaches or fans. Everyone is paying to see the stars. I’m not sure why some people care about something thrown onto the court that didn’t hurt anyone and had zero chance of doing any damage to anything. Fine the player and move on. Don’t let silly stuff decide a series. Fans and TV networks are paying millions to see the stars play. In what world would it make sense to suspend a star because of something silly?
