But we don't think you are a fit for our system or what we are trying to do and it is unlikely you will play much, if at all. So we will release you from your commitment, if you want, and won't say anything publicly and will help you find a new landing spot if we can."


It seems clear he really wanted to go to BYU. He is not because coach made it clear he was not wanted. But coach was also not rude about it.
