I can't do the full mask. Got the nose one and trained myself to keep my mouth closed at night.

same here...but the mouth guard gave me TMJ so I use the tongue holder one.

depends on why you need CPAP. There is not "one" surgical fix.

Surgery itself was fine. 10-day recovery was painful but tolerable w/pain meds.

No. The septum part was relatively easy. The pain was throat based.
