We are just finishing a 2-week cruise on Princess through Mexico/Belize/Honduras and then Puerto Rico/Amber Cove Dominican Republic/Grand Turk. I purchased the Verizon International Plan ($100 for a month - although Mexico is already covered) and had internet access while in all the various ports. For the last day today I purchased one day of wifi on the cruise ship which is $30 per day for 1 device. (I think it's $60 for up to 4 devices).. It's a little sluggish, but it works ok. Then I tested turning on a hotspot from my Google Pixel phone. I was able to use my windows laptop and my wife's apple devices to connect to the hotspot. It's been working great for us today while we're at sea.

Just wanted to confirm that I was able to create a hotspot and it works fine.
