Ute fans swear they are the least racist people around, progressive, etc.

It's like the spiderman meme, everyone pointing the finger at the other jazz fan.

At any rate, I know some byu people from in-between springville and payson who might not be above saying something dumb during an nba game and same goes for a lot of native Utahn ute fans from various areas of the state. (My job has required me to be in the homes of A LOT of people all around the state.) I think we think that because we ourselves and our circle of ~200 people we associate with and others like them would never say anything dumb, that no one in our demographic would. But they do.

I also think the reputation jazz games have, is exaggerated and is due mostly to the past and assumptions based on various factors that I don't have time to type about.
