Jax is a valuable player, even to UK. Pope isn't so much "desperate" for Jax's talent, though
as he is for a team leader whom he has a strong relationship & bond of trust with.
And his bond w our team makes him extra-valuable to us as well, of course.

You're right. It means he's more athletic. By quite a bit. Which is one reason why he's arguably a better player.
