4 years and the cap hit even if they trade or release him is a crazy amount.
I could see taking a 19-year-old that might sit at least 3 years, but no way taking someone as old as he is and had the injuries as he has had at 10 when you have more needs than you do.
Maybe they took him and will trade him, just didn't want to do it during the draft who knows.
