The Athletic article on SLC Winter Olympics in 2034 and potentially beyond.
For those without access, summary:
-SLC is all but decided for 2034 Olympics
-It may happen more often. More and more cities/countries are pushing back at the idea of building all these expensive buildings that will go unused after the Olympics. Whereas, SLC has continually used their facilities since the 2002 Olympics. (In theory) no taxpayer dollars are needed for 2034. This would put it in a good spot if they move to a rotation for the Winter Olympics.
