fans. Last years OL was a huge problem. That OL led to many of our offensive issues. No run game thanks to terrible blocking, no consistent push or pass blocking. All that happening while playing against much better competition week to week. Along with a new D staff that had players on the team that shouldn't be starters.
Retzlaff was thrown in to a terrible situation. Some still forget that we were actually moving the ball and playing well against Oklahoma. Sure he made a bad play, yes he had some bad throws. I just think he was rushed and sped up from the start and was never able to be comfortable.
Will he be a Heisman type player, no. But will he be the player we saw last year? Nope.
I really do think our OL will see a huge jump in play with an actual OL coach and TE coach that will get a lot more out of these players.
