While the summer/fall 2017 cycle was similar to last year's pool in terms of the number of applicants, BYU experienced a slight increase in the average admitted ACT score and in the average admitted high school GPA. Additionally, students from all 50 states and nearly 40 different countries received offers of admission. Here is an early estimated profile for the 2017 summer/fall admitted freshman class:
