I am eyeing a vehicle in the condition and with the right history I’m looking for, but it’s out of state. It’s far enough away that the only logical thing to do is fly out there, hope I like it in person, and then drive it home.
I want to use America First Credit Union if possible but how would this work? If I get loan approval through them can they work directly with the dealership the same day so I can drive the car home? If the dealership can beat ACFU financing then so be it, I’ll just use the in house financing. But I’d rather fly out there with pre-approval.
I just don’t want to be stuck out of state with no car or flight back home if I don’t come prepared, or be stuck with less than favorable financing through the dealership.
