2025 is the big year for sifting through and refining the player pool, but the US won't get a ton of competitive games in during that time because they're not involved in qualifying.

They'll hopefully get a couple of Nations League matches and a (traditional) B-team Gold Cup, but that's it. It will probably be tough to get A-team friendlies until the next spring, as well.

Could make it more challenging to assess emerging guys and start to build chemistry between the front-runners at key positions.
