If the elite and the blue bloods separate from the rest and play each other all the time then many of those programs are going to suffer in perception because they're not going to win as much and I'm not sure they or their fans would like that. The money would have to be A LOT more, otherwise, I could see them being comfortable with keeping the Vanderbilts of the world in their conferences.
