I don't know how important RPI is in the eyes of the committee
because before the tournament, BYU was sitting at 50.
Historically, it appears a team needs to be in the low 40s. A win over OU might lift them enough. It's anybody's guess. I remember when they lost to LMU and didn't make the Tournament playing in the WCC, and everyone thought they had been shafted. It would be interesting to see them make the tournament with only one win in the Big XII.
