I had been looking forward to it for months. Fun course about two hours away. I’m about to pull up to the course when my wife calls and tells me she’s going to the hospital to give birth. Son was coming 15 days early.

She told me I could play in the tournament and come to the hospital after because the baby would likely come the next day. I knew that was a trap/test and just turned around and drove two hours back home.

Today I’ve been waiting for the Srixon rep to do a club fitting. Really want a combo set of ZX5 in the shorter irons and ZX4 in the longer irons. Pumped for it today. Already paid for the fitting.

Well wife’s water broke this morning. 12 days early. She’s told me since it’s in town I can probably leave for the two hours to get fitted before the baby comes.

I won’t do that because I’m a good husband and father. But good to know my kids already hate golf/me
