marketing and the Moana brand name (which was the #1 streaming movie of 2023) is on bringing a crowd to the theater.
I also hope that with the switch to a theatrical release, that the resources needed to produce a high quality film were invested into making it a success. But like I said, it's still a bit of an unknown to me and will depend on how hard Disney markets the film and what sorts of reviews it gets. I just know a LOT of young kids that absolutely love Moana and watch it ad nauseam on Disney+ (my daughter is one of them).
