I know someone that lived there for 2 years and knows it well. The UP is
Beautiful. So is door county.
The membership is sparse, tough winters, lots of snow, very isolated.
As far as things to do, lots of good kayaking on Lake Superior shore. Lots of good snowmobiling.
Appleton, just south of Green Bay, has a few wards and great members.
It’s very green. Lots of deer. Very forested, cheap cist of living. But too isolated.
