In the past it has felt as though our coaches have tried to maximize our talent adjusting the philosophy to who we could get. We would try to get the best players we could and then make a plan based on who we could sign. Obviously there was some consistencies (like Dave Rose wanting to run) to maximize offensive possessions but the types of shots we would take were dictated by who was on the roster.

I'm under the impression that KY doesn't really want to do that. He has a system he wants to run and wants to find the best players he can that can run it.
