I can't imagine you won't need a referral for an early colonoscopy, complete with some sort of paperwork explaining why.
You can call your insurance to verify.
If you do need a referral then go in and see the doctor. Likely would need to do this anyway so they can submit the requisite paperwork explaining why you need it early. Please don't try and have them do the prior auth crap without getting paid.
