The good:

The cinematography was very well done. That was one of the most impressive movies I’ve seen done with the visuals. Cast was good, acting was good and I enjoyed the soundtrack a lot.

The bad:

It was really slow. Sometimes I felt my attention start to fade and I’d have to rewind to follow again as the names of things are hard to remember and at times I got lost on what was happening. I hear reading the book helps a lot.

Movie reminded me a lot of the chronicles of Riddick.

My sister in law said she fell asleep on the second one in theaters so I’m assuming it’s just as slow but I want to watch it.
