tournament while on our missions. There were about 30 contestants and he finished in 6th place. He had never Sumo before. He was a big kid, about 6'3'', 260, and had played a year of football at Dixie before his mission. It was fun, and yes, he got in trouble.

On another Sumo side note, I also had a Japanese companion who was the national HS champ his senior year in sumo. He was not a typical Sumo body. He was around 5'10", 220 ilbs. not much fat, pretty husky, muscle. He had scholarships to multiple colleges, but he declined them all, because they all wanted him to get really fat, like put on another 100 lbs or so, and did didn't want any part of that. Said he wanted a more attractive look for the ladies!, haha
We'd play wrestle a lot. Good times!
