Depends on NBA potential. If Jax is legit, go to basketball full time, go pro, and don't chase one year money.
What does he think about his 10+ year potential?
Seems if basketball is the dominant priority, not rational to allow student obligations to compete for such a large portion of his time for a few hundred thousand, AOTBE.
