Roof of a French train station and survived with a few broken bones, cuts and bruises……and a British tail gunner had to jump out of his exploding plane from 18000 feet and snowy pine trees broke his fall, amazing he only had a sprained leg.
And a Russian aviator who lost consciousness and never opened his chute from 21,000 feet, hit the edge of a ravine and slide down to the bottom of a hill. He regained consciousness and troops on the ground that witnessed his fall couldn’t believe he survived.
