Microsoft Customer Service/Support really sucks. I initially purchased
MS 365 Personal @ $69/year for one of my two computers. My other computer used an older version of Word so I didn't need to add 365 on it. A month later I changed my mind and decided to add MS 365 to my second computer. I got on my first computer and upgraded the product to MS 365 Family @ $99/year, which is good for up to 6 devices. I expected to get charged a pro-rated amount or get a partial credit from my first purchase. Nope, I got charged the full amount of $99 + tax. I waited a few days but no credit.

I looked on the MS website for a phone number or email for billing. No such luck. My order history showed both purchases. When I clicked on the Manage Subscription for my first purchase to cancel it, the second purchase was displayed. When I finally found a phone number for customer service, a recording referred me back to the website. I looked for a way to chat with support. No such luck. The only help offered a list of options, but no way to question a billing charge or to submit an issue. If I had an issue that didn't fit their list of possibilities, I guess I am just out of luck. So I contacted my credit card company to dispute the first charge. "Customer Service" is just a misnomer these days.
