Previously, it was thought that this new streamer for around $50/month that would get you ABC/ESPN/Fox/FS1/TNT/TBS would be great for college football and the NBA, and provide significant holes for basically every other sport out there.

But if the NBA media rights move from ESPN/TNT to ESPN/NBC/Amazon*, then the thing is basically worthless for the NBA. But also I’m speaking to the wrong audience as a board full of non-sports fans that only care about BYU football, which this would more than cover.




*there is still a chance that TNT matches the NBC offer and makes this void. But either way, the Amazon Prime portion of the NBA rights would not be on the Spulu streamer.
