I received a very slimy MLM approach the other day
...through Facebook. A guy I didn't know sent me this message:

Howdy Elder Jdub,
How's life been since the mission in Ecuador?
Hahaha... okay, guity! I saw you on the mission page.
Thought I'd see if you had a facebook.
Do you keep in touch with anyone down there?
I've been heading back to Ecuador to visit and for business and I'm looking for folks to recruit while I'm down there.
I'm also interested in missionaries, like myself, who would like to have business down there just as I do.
Would you like to keep in touch with this and other projects?

I looked up his business from his Facebook info page, and yes it was definitely an MLM. So this guy scoured my mission's alumni page, and started tracking down names in Facebook to see if he could snare some people and get recruits in Ecuador. I don't even know if he's LDS--it wouldn't surprise me either way. What I DO know is this is pretty scummy.
