For those of you in CA, this has some implications, and its unclear how this will play out. The Gen3 Glock is the only Glock model that is currently legal to purchase in CA. The Gen3 pistols being discontinued will make the supply of them dry up and maybe even fall of the California Handgun Roster. With limited supply, they will certainly demand a premium price.

But its also possible that Glock is planning on trying to add the Gen5 (or Gen6) pistols to the CA Roster. We will have to wait to see.
