You underestimate the US economy. There is no scenario where the US economy...
...sinks but everyone else stays afloat. Right now we are $36T in debt with trade deficits and barriers against us by all these nations we rebuilt after WW2 by letting them levy tariffs on us. They need to get off our backs and start funding themselves as we just don't have the cash to print anymore.
Now is the time for the US to rebalance trade to save ourselves and the globe.
