BREAKING: Power Trio Forms New Consulting Firm to Guide Future of College Athletics. (names you’ll recognize)
April 1 – In a move shocking absolutely no one and concerning almost everyone, recently decommissioned Pac-12 Commissioner George Kliavkoff, Utah Athletic Director Mark Harlan, and the undisputed infographic king of Twitter, Tony Altimore, have announced the formation of a bold new venture:

“Echo12 Strategies: The Future of the Future of College Sports.”

According to their press release (formatted in a 47-slide Canva deck), Echo12 Strategies offers “elite advisory services for athletic departments and conferences who want to punch above their media weight — or at least spin their collapse into a visionary win.”

Their core offerings include:
• Media Rights Negotiation: Specializing in YouTube TV, regional public access, and tech startups you’ve never heard of.
• Press Relations: We help you look good even when your house is literally on fire.
• Infographic Dominance: Need a chart that proves your 6th-best team is actually better than the SEC’s second-best? Tony’s got 13 for that.
• Narrative Engineering: Why “implosion” is just another word for “creative reinvention.”

“We’ve seen the highs and lows of college sports,” said Harlan. “Mainly the lows. But now we’re here to help others navigate the same thrilling freefall.”

Tony Altimore added via X (formerly Twitter):

“This is NOT a joke. The data shows 78% of people don’t understand realignment nuance. We do. And we have the pie charts to prove it.”

Echo12’s first client is rumored to be the University of Phoenix, which is considering a return to D1 athletics “pending a sufficiently compelling graphic.”
