Every April fools day, all I do is be nice and do good things for my kids...and smile. But they get very paranoid and think something is up. They are on guard because they think I have some master plan building up for years and they don't want me to get them. But I never actually do anything.
For example, today I made breakfast burritos and smile as I hand them out. "Oh sure, Dad. You made 'Breakfast Burritos'. There is something in them!!! I'm not eating them."
In the past, I have made their beds. Then they take all the blankets and sheets off looking for something that isn't there. Or I buy ice cream bars or something and tell them "Hey, there is some ice cream treats out in the freezer, whoever wants one can go get one." And then smile. No one budged. So I went out and got one for me. The others wouldn't go out there because they just knew there was something up.
There are many of these types of incidents.
Anyway, for all these years, they think they have avoided my pranks, when in reality. there was never a prank. I'm just trying to be nice...with a smile...
