rest of the team some time ago that he didn't yet have the maturity to handle the realities of big time college basketball.
Like a lot of highly rated recruits, his first year of college ball was the first time in his life that he ran into significant basketball hurdles and didn't automatically dominate on the court. The hope with a kid in that situation is that they'll show some humility and resilience and get over the hump with hard work.
Obviously that didn't happen with him this season, and he's not willing to stick it out in Provo any longer. His family thinks he can do better elsewhere. Time will tell if they're right.
