What are Robbie Mccombs connections to the team?

He has seemed to be the best insider who writes incredible content about the team, but how does he get this inside info?

He seems to know so much about recruiting, coaching, players, etc.

Does the team allow him inside access because they trust him?

It is interesting to me that his insider status didn’t seem to change with the coaching change. So it doesn’t seem to me that he had/has an in with one specific coach, it is something much more robust and long-lasting than that.
