And it came to pass on the first day of March madness, after the play in games, that Taysom went through the stadium in a tan sweatshirt with no words on it; and his fellow cougar fans wore BYU apparel, and did buy more of it, collecting it in their hands.
And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would wear BYU apparel on the BYU sporting event day; that they might find an accusation against him.
But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had a BYU hat whose bill was devoid of any famous cougar great’s signature, Rise up, and stand forth next to me. And he arose and stood forth.
Then said Taysom unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on game days to do good, or to do evil? to bolster cougar spirit, or to destroy it?
And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hat. And he did so: and his hat was covered in Taysom’s glorious and holy signature, using as it were a black sharpie, as other hats had been before it.
And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Taysom.
And Taysom said unto all within the sound of his voice, Think not that I am come to destroy the BYU trademarks, or the cougar spirit: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
