"Looking at just last 5 BYU game stats and boxed score:
Positives ( of concern): they rebound well, run 10-11 guys 25ish minutes, good assists numbers, get to FT line a good amount, really score it in the second half.
Negatives (good for us): they are slow starters, are susceptible to foul trouble, have some big TO games, no massive inside presence, somewhat inconsistent from FT line, have not faced our type of constant pressure."
I don't think we get to the FT line that much. I don't think we are susceptible to foul trouble, besides we go 11 deep anyway. No inside presence? I guess Kaba and Fouss are lightweights.
And my favorite, "have not faced our type of constant pressure." I'm sure Houston and Iowa state defenses wish they could put the pressure on teams that VCU can. Granted we haven't done well against Houston but they are on a different level than 99% of teams. We did okay against ISU and other teams that are equal to or better defensive teams.
