Interesting wording.Big 12 transition.Big 12 is their life boat.Pac12 failure is
a better way to phrase it. The article should go on to say without the “move to the big 12” Utah may have had to cancel all sports or join the Mountain West and be in debt for decades.
If they want to word it like that, they could say because the Big 12 outsmarted the Pac 12…
