I lived in PNW for years so I was thinking I could manage no prob with my 4x4 Toyota. The roads were 2" of solid, clear ice. I'd never seen anything like it. To get up a slight hill to the office, I had to drive in the median, which thankfully had grass that meant the ice would break up and provide some traction. Ice storms are no joke.
