As of today, as best I can tell, coaches will need to invite 13 current roster players to enter the spring transfer portal to get under the 105 roster cap.

We had 121 players on the 2024 roster. 20 were seniors, but there are 3 seniors with extra Juco eligibility that might come back for another year, bringing the roster down to 104 players.

We've added 7 transfer portal players and had 12 declare for the portal, a net loss of 5, bringing the roster down to 99 players.

As best I can tell, we have 9 players coming back off missions from the 2023 signing class (I included Clegg here as part of the 9), bringing the roster up to 108.

We have 1 player leaving on a mission that I know of (Ryner Swanson) - 107.

We have 11 2025 kids that are supposed to enroll for 2025 (some have already enrolled early), bringing the total up to 118.

That puts us 13 players over the 105 roster limit for next year. Anyone new we sign out of the the transfer portal will add to the number of players farther down the food chain who will have to be cut/told to enter the portal. As it looks like coaches are still trying to bring in some ready-to-play players from the portal, it will probably be 15-20 additional players who have to enter the transfer portal in the spring.
