Houston knows EXACTLY what they are going to do to win. DEFEND like crazy and absolutely ATTACK the glass. On offense they know how they are going to play, who is going to get shots, and where to get shots from. Kelvin Sampson knows how he wants his teams to play and he's good at getting them to execute that plan.
BYU still doesn't know their identity offensively or defensively. There is nothing they can look to as their clear advantage for how they are going to win game to game against great teams. Having different players lead the team in scoring is fine, but having a clear pecking order helps establish consistency and rhythm.
I am really interested to see how the team goes forward. We have a lot of players with different skill sets and no clear idea about who is expected to do what and at what level in order to win. I'm hoping to see a great response as BIG 12 play continues and as Kevin Young adapts to college basketball.
