to this year at Kentucky. He has reverted more to his stats from his first year at BYU. Was on an upward trajectory last year where he averaged almost 15ppg and is back down to 11 with Kentucky this year. He’s about the 4th or 5th best player on their team. Maybe it’ll pay off somehow as he’ll get more noticed (but I doubt that given the Big 12 is still considered the best BBall conference.) Does seem a little puzzling as he was on an upward trajectory at BYU and if he’d stayed on that trajectory would average 20-21ppg this year. Wish him the best though. With the level of kids we’re bringing in it really doesn’t matter, but it’d be hard to make a case that his move to Kentucky is helping his draft stock/chances.
