I think he shares a lot of what he's told. I would not be surprised at all if someone in Utah's program shared their thoughts on what they think BYU is doing with NIL. Remember the Newman "fast and loose" comment? That came from someone at Utah as well.

Utah treats some of these guys like an extended arm of their PR team. They gaslight and use them to try and control the narrative. They all do it to some degree. Markham is just the one with a lack of emotional intelligence to filter what he hears.

All he would have had to do is stop and think for 2 seconds about if what they said was true, BYU would have massive cultural issues in the program. Instead he went full rival brain melt and spewed nonsense. I personally love it. It's fun watching that dude get dunked on.
