About 5 minutes in. The coverage and commentary has been all Colorado. This is true in a very literal sense for Pasch in particular. He has had literally had nothing to say about BYU. The other dude gave us a couple mentions.
I usually think that we are a bit overreactionary, sensitive, and obsessed over the folks that call our games. I don’t notice commentators much. But I noticed the obvious Colorado focus last night. I followed the Twitter condemnation of their performance a bit today, and on the replay, it’s highly justified so far.
It took those first five minutes for them to get to us at all. They gave a brief, objective and high level recap of our season. Then right back to CO and the clearly more effusive angles.
I actually like some of their coverage as I mostly enjoy Prime and think Shedeur earned a lot of his accolades. But this was not an exercise in objective media coverage of a bowl game, at least not early on.
Also, hold vs. Collins was weak. Total star treatment there.
