Gotta love it.

AJ has reached out to Nate Ament to talk about the opportunity of playing together at BYU, according to On3.

Nate Ament is the No. 3 overall player in the 2025 On3 150 and the top remaining available prospect in the class.

I don’t think Nate is likely to come to BYU, but the fact that AJ is even having these convos is great, IMO. He wants to win in college and surround himself with other great players.

“I’ve heard from BYU some, and they’ve been to a practice,” Ament said. “I’ve actually talked with AJ (Dybantsa) since he committed. You know, having me and AJ on the same team, two high-level wings, would be enticing for us to both grow as freshmen, pursuing our dreams of the NBA. So that would put them a little more into play for me since AJ committed.”

Again, I don’t expect Nate to be coming to BYU but we’ll know in Feb / March when he has said that he plans on committing.
