BYU will face its biggest offensive challenge in defending the reigning Heisman winner with a first round draft pick QB throwing to him. In its last game against a good offense, ASU, BYU was horrid. No ifs, ands or buts about it.
Will BYU come out prepared, or will it whiff? In the Edwards days, you would know BYU would whiff. Kalani is hit and miss in bowl games.
Because CU has two gamers, I sense BYU may lose, but hope springs eternal or at least temporally. For BYU to win, the receivers will need to make timely catches, and Roberts will need to beat the Heisman winner. Darius being out is not good but perhaps he will ignite the team in the second half.
BYU will need to establish a run game to control the LOS. Can it do that? Yes.
I wouldn't feel comfortable making any prediction because BYU can generate turnovers but Sanders is very efficient.
Here's hoping BYU plays lights out, and CU is reading its clippings.
