My opinion on the latest NBA ratings/gameplay discussion is that the NBA is not
broken, but that if you think it is, you should probably just accept it and move on.

Despite all of the discourse about the problems with the NBA and the league’s decline in viewership, the media deal that they signed 6 months ago is almost triple the money of the previous deal. This was after load management, 2020, the 3pt boom, and whatever other problems people have with the league.

I don’t think they’re going to look at the increase in money and come to the conclusion that they need to drastically change the rules, schedule, or anything else. They’ll tinker with rule changes because that’s what sports leagues do, but as long as it’s a revenue-driven business and the revenue is increasing, why would they make dramatic changes?
